HSO Boarding Quiz
The inaugural Big Boarding Quiz was held on Friday 6th March in the Main Hall at Headington.
The Boarders’ Social Committee spent weeks planning the event and had great fun transforming the Hall into a party-like atmosphere, complete with childhood favourite snacks and beautiful balloons.
As well as Headington girls, the boarders welcomed L5 and U5 pupils from Abingdon, Burford, Bloxham and Rye St Antony schools to compete against them for a quiz to end all quizzes.
Ably hosted by Headington’s very own Mr Richard Darcy, Napier Assistant Housemaster, the boarders were treated to multiple rounds of tricky general knowledge questions to test their teamwork skills and ability to remember unusual facts and pop culture references!
Food was enjoyed by all and all boarders ended having made ‘friends for life’, with whom they will keep in contact and look forward to seeing at the next social event.
