Experimenting at Science Oxford

Year 3 enjoyed a marvellous day out at the Science Oxford Centre on 2nd February 2023. 

Upon entry to the Science Centre the girls were instantly immersed in intriguing activities which sparked their curiosity and provided plenty of entertainment. The girls experimented with forces, sound and even created their own Rube-Goldberg inspired machines. 

Year 3 ended the day with a spectacular science show put on by the science centre staff. They encouraged the girls to question their own understanding and scientific beliefs and they watched on in awe. 

Mr Josh Batty, Year 3 teacher at Headington Prep School, said: “The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I was very impressed by their scientific intrigue.”
