Lollipop towers

Year 4 were set a challenge to build sturdy towers from rainbow lollipop sticks and balance a toy animal on the top. Each group grappled with wooden pegs, elastic bands, rainbow sticks and dice to assemble a variety of structures varying in height and strength. The tallest tower measured at 355mm and a yellow plastic frog balanced happily on top.
