Year 6 Trip to the Nutcracker

Year 6 girls enjoyed a trip to the ballet as part of their studies on the history of music.

When learning about the Romantic period the focus was the birth of ballet. On Wednesday 1^st February girls enjoyed a fabulous trip to Oxford’s New Theatre to watch Varna International Ballet Company dance ‘The Nutcracker’.

Mrs Amy Evetts, Head of Music and Drama at Headington Prep School, said: “The costumes and the dancers were magical. All the girls thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a trip to remember.”
