International Evening 2023
It involved music, dance, singing, and a lot of fun! This year’s International Evening on Wednesday 1st March did not disappoint as over 15 acts performed a range of different acts and skills to the delight of our boarding community and staff members.
Each year the boarding community comes together for this spectacular event which aims to celebrate the diverse cultures within Headington’s five boarding houses. Acts showcased Dance, Music and Drama. From Afrobeats to Justin Bieber, a Guzheng masterclass to Amy Winehouse, it was a spectacular evening.
The night was hosted by International Student Leader Raeesa and Diversity Prefect Filelu, who made a fabulously funny double act and provided insight into each performance.
Head of Boarding Mrs Mary Rahmatallah said: “As ever, we are very grateful to Mme Cecile Preston, Senior Housemistress, for putting the night together and can’t wait to see what next year has in store – definitely a night not to miss!”
