U10A&B Hockey v The Dragon
U10A: Won 5-1. Player of the match – Abby and Iona
After a slow start where the U10A Hockey team conceded a goal, the goals soon started flowing for Headington. With some quick long passes up to Charlie, who showed confidence in front of goal, the team were 3-1 up at half time. Nancy played her first game in goal and made some crucial saves. In the second half, Headington showed good team work and Iona was determined to score and managed to demonstrate strength in her forward running, scoring two brilliant goals for the team.
U10B: Won 5-2. Player of the match – Nancy
This was a great game of Hockey and the U10B team were goal hungry, showing good attacking play. Nancy worked tirelessly for the team both in defence and attack. Summer zipped around the pitch tackling with strength and passing the ball well. It was an excellent team performance, well played everyone.
