Young Citizens Bar Mock Trial
Girls readying themselves for the Young Citizens Bar Mock Trial Competition have put themselves through their paces.
In preparation for the contest, they carried out a run through at the old Crown Court room at Oxford Town Hall today.
To bring things to life, a real-life barrister took on the role of judge. The team has had the privilege of working with a QC to build their cases.
Miss Lauren Bates-Brownsword, Assistant Housemistress at Headington, has been supporting the team alongside her Assistant Housemistress role and her studies as she prepares to take the Bar in London.
Mrs Mary Rahmatallah, Head of Boarding at Headington, said: “The team were fabulous and the chance to try on the wig at the end was a highlight as well.”
The live competition takes place on Saturday 30th April
