Henry VI Scholars Play

As part of the Festival of Creativity, the L5-U6 Drama Scholars have been exploring and developing their knowledge of Shakespeare’s Henry VI, a play which explores the origins of the Wars of the Roses.

Using the historical context, but setting the play in a futuristic dystopian society, the scholars have experimented with fight choreography and added to their understanding of Shakespearean plays.

On Monday 28th February, they created a short film, documenting what they have learnt, including extracts of the play. This short film will be premiered next half term.
