Year 1 visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park
Year 1 girls visited Cotswold Wildlife Park to kickstart their new topic of ‘Paws, Claws and Whiskers’.
The children enjoyed seeing lots of different animals and exploring the beautiful gardens. The penguins were a firm favourite; they put on quite a show! One penguin decided to swim around the pool and performed an array of jumps and dives. The children were thrilled!
After their packed lunch, the children had time to enjoy the playground. Following that it was time for a train ride where the girls had a mini-safari experience, passing rhinos, zebras, giraffes and lions.
The trip ended with an ice-cream and a visit to the gift shop. The children had a wonderful time and learnt lots of new facts about the animals they saw.
