EYFS Blenheim Palace Trip 2022
Nursery and Reception took a fabulous day out visiting Blenheim Palace last Thursday 9th June.
Nursery girls visited the lavender garden and Butterfly House first – and nearly took a butterfly home with them as it didn’t want to let go of Mrs Sale!
After a trip to the Adventure Playground, the girls then met up with Reception for a picnic lunch.
Fuelled by lunch Nursery then had a return trip on Winston the train before tackling the maze. Some girls had fun exploring deep into the maze, while others investigated another playground before all reuniting for a final playtime and then back on the bus to school.
Reception started at the maze, which was quite tricky and involved using a map in the end to find their way to the middle and then out again! The girls then caught Winston the train to the Palace and back again before joining Nursery for a picnic lunch.
After lunch the girls had lots of fun on some large equipment at the Adventure Playground, before exploring the incredible Butterfly House. The girls loved the butterflies which gracefully flew around them. Then it was time to walk back through the buzzing lavender gardens to the coach back to school.
A great day was had by all and no doubt the girls slept well after such an adventurous day.
