U3 care home visits
On Friday 19th May, U3 girls spent time in the local community, visiting care homes to perform for the residents.
These visits are continuing a long-standing relationship between the school and the local care homes.
There was lots of creativity and collaboration on display as the girls sang together, played musical instruments and recited poetry (including some that they had written themselves). There was even some country dancing and joke telling! The residents and the staff at the care homes thoroughly enjoyed the visits and were hugely impressed by the performances.
Mrs Sarah Donwa, Head of U3 said: “The girls did a wonderful job in displaying their fantastic talents for the residents and we look forward to more visits in the future!”
