IAPS National Swimming Finals 2023

The Under 10 team of Sara R, Emma T, Isla R and Evie B were very excited to be representing Headington at the National Finals which were held at the London Aquatic Centre.

The Medley Relay was first and Headington went into the competition ranked in 16th. They knocked an amazing 6.99 seconds off their time (the most of any team) and managed to finish in 10th place.

Isla R was then in the individual 25m breaststroke. She had a great swim in the semi final placing second overall in a new personal best time of 19.34. In the final she won the race in the last three strokes with an amazing finish in a time of 19.08 seconds. This also sets a new school record for 25 metres breaststroke. Congratulations to the whole team!
