CCF weekend with Radley College

Cadets from Headington School had a busy weekend of activity across the 7th and 8th October.

Eight U5 were delivering their first practical lessons of their instructor course, while the new U4 (15) intakes were participating in their first practical lessons, alongside the rest of the contingent supporting the open day.

On Sunday, Headington’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF) had 21 L5-L6 Cadets attend the first Radley CCF competition, where the group was mixed up into teams to take part in a gun run, two-mile casualty evacuation run and archery.

The cadets had a great time collaborating in teams with the Radley cadets while enjoying competing and learning from the more challenging aspects of the competition.
