The Grumpy Sheep
This year pupils from Nursery and Reception classes performed their annual nativity show: “The Grumpy Sheep” by Caroline Hoile.
They told the tale of a grumpy sheep who wasn’t very happy with his life, but having seen the Baby King lying in a manger in a lowly stable, he is touched by the humility and love of the Christ child and is transformed into a happy sheep.
The children bravely performed all their lines in front of a big audience of parents, grandparents and friends.
Parents watched with joy as their daughters sung their songs with huge enthusiasm and were delighted to watch and join them singing the verses of “Away in a manger” at the end. It served as a lovely start to the end-of-term Christmas festivities.
