Painting London skylines in The Hive
On Thursday 11th January, Year 2 visited Senior School Director of Art Mrs Tova Dalgleish at the Hive building in the Senior School.
She taught them how to create a picture of the London Skyline using watercolours and printing ink.
It was great fun for the girls to learn the technique of creating a horizon line and then using print blocks to create the iconic landmarks of the capital city.
As they took a look around the building the children were so impressed with the artwork that had been produced by the older pupils at the Senior School and it sparked some excitement for the years to come.
