Fashionistas take to the catwalk

Year 6 took on the exciting challenge of upcycling garments for their Sustainable Fashion project. They explored the effect of the fashion industry on the planet and set to work finding ways that they could help protect our planet for the future!

The girls learnt how to alter unwanted clothing, dying fabrics, adding embellishments and using a sewing machine to create darts and hems. They were able to breathe new life into skirts, t-shirts, even transforming old curtains into stunning new outfits!
