Town and Gown 2024
On Sunday 12th May, Team Headington School took to the streets for the Oxford Town and Gown run.
Dozens of pupils, staff, parents, alumnae and members of the wider community took part in either the 3k Junior run or the full 10k through Oxford’s dreaming spires. They braved blazing sunshine and high temperatures to join thousands taking part in the race, which raises funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
External Relations Trustee Mrs Helen Batchelor said: “Thank you to all who participated, whether as a runner or cheering from the sidelines.
“It was a fantastic day and we were lucky with the glorious weather! From start to finish, the atmosphere was electric, with supporters lining the route and providing endless encouragement.
“It was wonderful to be able to celebrate this exciting occasion with wider Oxfordshire community, all in aid of a fantastic cause, raising vital funds for Muscular Dystrophy.
“We’re already excited for next year’s run and hope to see even more participants join the ranks of Team Headington!”
