Year 2 Football Tournament

All the children from Year 2 took part in their inaugural Football Festival and showed great enthusiasm for the event.

They played in four mini games, with our wonderful Year 6 helpers refereeing. It was sunny afternoon and a wonderful learning experience for all.

At the end of the mini tournament, the Year 2s tested their accuracy and power in a penalty shoot-out against the Year 6 who stood in as very tough goalkeepers. Lots of goals were scored and the children were cheered on by parents and teachers.
