Prep Cross Country 2019
Headington Prep Cross Country 2019 – Thursday 21st March 2019
This annual competition invites school from the local area to run around our extensive grounds. On a dull but dry day 200 runners took part. Thirty Headington runners represented school, some for the first time. With approximately 50 runners in each race it was an exciting prospect! In each school the first four runners home were totaled to give each school their overall score.
We were very excited to win the Under 8 team trophy and place second in both the Under 9s and 10s. Some of the Under 11 team were representing Headington at the Regional Hockey Finals but thank you to the remaining Under 11s who all ran well.
A special thank you to the grounds staff who helped to prepare the course, to catering for the delicious cakes and biscuits and to all the staff and parents who gave up their time to make this meeting run so smoothly.
