Year 2 – TimKa in music

Year 2 girls have been learning about a new rhythmic pattern, TimKa. The girls learnt songs which contained this exciting rhythmic pattern and practised writing their own four-beat rhythm which includes TimKa. As part of this work, they used Lego to create the distinctive pattern to further reinforce their learning.
