Hockey team compete at regionals
Headington’s U14 Hockey team attended the South Central Regional Tournament on Tuesday 19th November at Woking Hockey Club.
It started with a close game against St William Borlase’s Grammar School with an end score of 0-0 however there was some brilliant play on show from both teams. The next game was against Reigate Grammar School. Headington fought fiercely and Emily delivered an amazing stick save on a short corner drag flick, however Reigate Grammar School were eventually the victors. Headington threw everything into their last match. There were some astounding solo runs from Jess and Sacha but sadly the girls couldn’t put the ball in the net so the end score was 0-0.
Captain of the U14s, Trinity, (U4) said: “The girls had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the day!”
