University Challenge
Headington VI was yet again abuzz with activity as sixth formers took on Radley College and Marlborough College in what is set to be the first of many ‘University Challenge’ style quizzes.
Following selection from our quiz and curry night, the two Headington teams battled it out, demonstrating strengths in Biological Sciences and Literature.
While the Headington girls’ knowledge of reality television let them down, they still managed a victory in the early rounds over Marlborough’s A team but conceded defeat to our guests, with Malborough eventually taking the crown. Radley put on a stellar performance in second place.
Headington has been challenged to a further dual with both schools in the summer term. Many thanks to Georgia and the Social Committee for hosting this spectacular event.
