Watch this Space
Year 5 have begun their new topic in science, ‘Watch this Space’. Having been introduced to all the planets, the next challenge for the girls was to try and comprehend the enormity of our solar system by scaling it using a roll of toilet paper! With an average of 220 squares per roll, they calculated that each square needed to represent 21 million km if a full roll was to get them all the way to Neptune. They started at the side gate and ended up at the greenhouse. Sterling collaboration from the two teams. Well done girls!
