Key Stage 2 Carol Service
The last week of the term saw a crescendo of activities from Christmas lunch and a few class parties and theatre trips to the final day, when, after the enthusiastic welcome of our very own Father Christmas, Key Stage 2 walked to All Saints for our annual carol service.
It was a very fitting end to the Autumn Term. All the children from Key Stage 2 performed in year groups. They recited poems (with imaginative actions) and belted out their year group songs with great gusto.
Chamber Choir also did a fabulous job skilfully performing renditions of songs such as ‘Hear the Christmas Bells’.
Rev Tom Howell, school chaplain, reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas with his talk and by the time the congregation had sung ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’ it was time collect our belongings and head back to the Prep School for much needed refreshments (mulled wine for the grown ups!) and time to chat with friends.
