Year 4 play

March 12th and 13th 

Every year, under the guidance of Year 4 class teachers and inspiring drama teacher Mr Richard Kidd, the Year 4 pupils prepare a play for the school and parents to watch at the end of term. This year they had to perform it a week earlier than usual but that did not deter them.

They all performed their lines with great aplomb and took the audience on a fantastical ‘Grimms Tales‘ journey through the stories of Hansel and Gretel. They performed in groups, on their own and as a wonderful ensemble. The parents in particular enjoyed their dance rendition of Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ mid-way through the show.

Well done to all involved for a brilliant showcase of drama, dance and music.
