A Celebration of Guitar
Dozens of talented Headington School guitarists came together to deliver a superb, chilled, cool, funky, moving and colourful evening concert.
The guitarists performed to a packed audience at the Celebration of Guitar on Tuesday 4th February, presented by their teacher, Mr Peter Manhood.
The concert also featured lots of very happy Prep School girls, who played an exciting version of ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’!
Acting Director of Music Mr Tom Anderson said: “There were some wonderfully precise and moving performances of solo classical guitar compositions, as well as ensemble arrangements.
“It is a highlight of the calendar every year, all of the students did incredibly well.”
