Actress takes role in Romeo + Juliet
A girl from Headington’s L5 has been awarded a role in Milton Keynes Dance Theatre production of ‘Romeo + Juliet’. Ellie-Rose (L5) has been awarded a role in the company’s production of “Romeo + Juliet”, including a solo part.
Her mum and dad said Ellie-Rose had been a keen dancer for many years, dancing with the Jill Stew School of Dance in Witney. Ellie-Rose dances at Headington as part of the Headington Dance Academy and is also a Dance Scholar.
They described themselves as “pleasantly surprised” when Ellie-Rose landed the role following an audition in early September, securing a corps de ballet soloist role as well as a Nanny role.
They said: “We are very proud of her and very much appreciate the support and encouragement that she receives from her dance tutors at Headington.
“We hope that she will continue to fly the flag for Headington Dance Academy.”
