Boarding induction fun
On the first weekend of the school year, almost 200 boarders enjoyed their Induction Weekend into boarding at Headington.
The girls and staff had a great time together, getting to know each other and spending time getting to know the site as well as the city of Oxford itself.
Each House provided a bespoke induction programme for their pupils and every day included different activities.
Some played team games, such as MacGregor’s ‘Build the tallest tower using spaghetti and marshmallows’ (!) competition and those in Napier competed in House families to win various challenges involving table tennis balls and memory games.
The Davenport boarders had a wonderful dinner at Pho after punting (no one got lost!) and Celia Marsh had a lot of messy fun on Sunday with various paint and craft activities. There was also the opportunity for boarders to explore the beautiful city of Oxford while our Hillstow boarders enjoyed their scavenger hunt.
