Bushcraft Trip 2019
Year 6 have recently returned from 4 wild days in the woods on their Bushcraft adventure! During their time away the girls demonstrated excellent perseverance and resilience in coping with life in the outdoors. Their many challenges included: building and sleeping in outdoor shelters, lighting fires and cooking on them, learning to deal with giving first aid to teachers (in their SOS simulation!), surviving in a freezing cold lake and the added challenge of no showers for 3 nights! Their teachers were very proud of their positivity and enthusiasm thoughout, perfectly demonstrated in their epic ‘Tribe’s Got Talent’ performances on the final evening (which had to be finished off the next day!) Well done year 6 – you are ready for your next adventure…
