Cadets learn about STEM and Army careers

Members of Headington’s Combined Cadet Force contingent had a fascinating insight into some of the possible STEM careers they could pursue at a special event in September.

Today we were very fortunate to experience a STEM careers day hosted at Sandhurst by the British Army.

Against the backdrop of the fantastic Old College, we learnt about the myriad of roles involving both STEM subjects and the Armed Forces. We were lucky to have a workshop on Army education, where we were challenged with a puzzle presented regularly to junior soldiers.  

There was such a wide variety of companies to find out more about and we finished the day with plenty of satisfied faces.
