Cakes galore at World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Headington VI played host to this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September.
Girls and staff joined with thousands of groups and organisations across the nation for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, which is Macmillan’s biggest individual fundraiser. The Blue Horse Cafe was abuzz with activity as MacGregor House sold an array of baked goods for a cause close to their hearts. Girls from across the School flocked to the sale and the Rocky Road was gone within seconds, closely followed by the Cake Pop which is rumoured to be making a comeback!
With ‘Great British Bake Off’ in full swing on our televisions, the students and staff at Headington School attempted their own showstoppers and there was also a Vegan, Gluten Free and Soy Free stall, with something for everyone.
Congratulations to Amelia, L6, for providing the closest guess for our ‘guess the weight of the cake’ contest.
In total, £503.65 was raised for the cause. Well done to all involved!
