Carol service at St Andrew’s

On Monday 16th December, U3, L4 and U4 girls made their way to St Andrews Church in Headington, our local parish church.

Fr Darren McFarland, vicar of St Andrew’s and a governor at Headington School, is known to the girls from his visits to the School. Fr McFarland welcomed us all and the church looked wonderful with its enormous Christmas tree!

The service was a festive combination of readings, carols and a beautiful performance from Headingtones.

Head of U3 Mrs Hannah Badger said: “It was a lovely way to mark the last week of term ahead of the Christmas Lunch and good preparation for our singers ahead of the main Carol Service in Christchurch Cathedral.”
