Christingle Service at All Saints’ Church

The annual Christingle Service at Headington Prep School is a highlight of the festive period and this year, Rev Tom Howell and the girls did not disappoint.

With Head of Music Mrs Amy Evetts on the piano, the Prep School girls’ voices sung wonderfully festive songs filling the rafters of the All Saints’ Church on All Saints Road, just around the corner from the Prep School, at the event on Tuesday 6th December.

Rev Howell’s sermon was a joy to hear as he came up with a new and inventive way of explaining the meaning of the Christingle involving and interacting with the crowd throughout. The service culminated in a rousing chant of the Christmas classic ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ of which the parents couldn’t help but join in for.
