Dance company performs at U.Dance
Headington Dance Company were selected to perform at the regional platform of U.Dance 2020, which took place on Sunday 8th March in The Brook Theatre in Kent.
This very exciting dance competition, gave the dancers the chance to experience a professional dance workshop with National Youth Dance Company (NYDC), along with watching performances from other dance companies and showcasing their own work. One dance company will be selected to perform at the national final in Glasgow in July 2020.
The Dance Company worked incredibly well preparing for this event and their performance at the competition was outstanding, demonstrating mature and exceptional performance skills and dance technique. Many staff involved in the event commented on the dancers’ professionalism and positive attitude.
Director of Dance Miss Faith Jackson said: “We are incredibly proud of all involved. Well done to all.”
The troupe will find out if they have been shortlisted by the end of the school term.
