Dance Day – Festival of Creativity
Dancers spent a day dedicated to their craft for the Festival of Creativity Dance Day on 2nd April.
This was a really exciting and inspiring day of dance, with Headington Dance Academy classes taught by professional dance practitioner Aimee Dulake. Headington dancers collaborated and worked with dancers from Dillon Dance company and Glenthorne Performance Company.
The evening performance showcased work by dancers from Headington Dance Academy, Dillon Dance, Glenthorne Performance Company, Step2Dance, Izzy Webb and dance films including work by Shaun Dillon and Aimee Dulake.
Director of Dance Miss Faith Jackson said: “All the dancers and companies involved performed to such an incredibly high standard and it was fantastic to organise this collaborative event, promoting Dance and the creative arts and working with Youth Companies in both Oxford and London.
“Well done to all involved and thank you to all of the companies who participated and helped to make this show the huge success that it was.”
