Dancing in the National Youth Dance Company

Congratulations to Madeleine (Mads), Headington’s U6 A Level Dancer and Performing Arts scholar who has successfully auditioned for the National Youth Dance Company (NYDC).

Mads will be working under the world-renowned artistic director, performer, choreographer and teacher Alesandra Seutin.

Over 200 dancers auditioned for the company this year and Mads is one of just 18 female dancers and four male dancers chosen to join the 2021/22 cohort.

Miss Faith Jackson, Director of Dance at Headington, said: “This is an exceptional achievement and we are all thrilled for Mads and very proud of her, we wish her the best of luck with the upcoming residencies and performances!”
