Headington at the Lady Taverners Cricket

On Friday 31st January, Headington School’s U15 cricket team travelled to Bartholomew School in Eynsham to take part in Oxfordshire’s Lady Taverners Indoor Cricket Competition.

Headington’s team captain Amelia (U5) showed great leadership as the girls played some hard-fought matches and finally finished in third place. Unfortunately, it isn’t enough to qualify for the next stage of the competition however the girls should be proud of their performances.

Headington School will look forward to being the host for the same stage of the Lady Taverners at U13 level next week.
