Headington horse rider jumps into first place
A Headington rider has picked up a pair of rosettes after competing in a national contest.
On 29th October 2020, Alice (U4) represented Headington and took home 1st and 4th place in the National School Equestrian Association competition at the Bury Farm Equestrian Club.
Competing in both the 80cm jumping with style and 90cm jumping with style, Alice and her horse ‘Primative Pebbles’ did Headington School proud as she took 4th and 1st place respectively at the competition in Leighton Buzzard.
Mrs Annabel Clarence, Head of U4 said: “It’s amazing to see our girls doing so well in their extra-curricular passions and to do it representing Headington! Well done Alice!”
