Headington Prep are Oxfordshire football champions

The U11 team played brilliantly during the Oxfordshire County tournament. They showed good team spirit and worked hard for each other. The final was a tense game which was won by a thunderbolt of a strike by Lily. Summer, Izzy and Abby marshalled the defence well with Ali, Rose, Jenna, Georgie and Lily offering consistent attacking threat throughout the game.

Thirteen goals were scored throughout the day by the team and they only conceded one goal which is a fantastic achievement. They will therefore go on to represent Oxfordshire at the regional finals later in the term. Well done to each and every girl involved.
