House Netball in KS1

The inaugural KS1 House Netball event took place indoors due to the wet weather but despite that, it was a wonderful event – full of fun, excitement and great skills. Firstly the children agreed that the outcomes of the event were to “have fun”, “try your hardest”, “work as a team” and “aim to win”.

They then took part in four mini-challenges which involved goal shooting, passing, footwork skills and an end ball game. Everyone worked hard and showed an excellent team spirit throughout. The event finished with the announcement of the results and Beech House was the overall trophy winner, however it was a win for everyone in this first ever event. Well done Year 1 and Year 2.
