IAPS Swimming Regional Round 2022
The Under 11s attended the Regional round of IAPS swimming at the Royal Russell School on Thursday 24th March.
They were very excited but also a little nervous! The girls have put in plenty of work, practising relay changeovers and individual strokes and turns, to rise to the challenge of a meeting run under Swim England competition standards.
In the medley relay, the team of Annabel, Mia, Melissa and Jess beat their previous best time by over two seconds in a new time of 1.21.66.
In the freestyle relay, the team of Dana, Ai Ling, Melissa and Jess were marginally faster than their PB in a new time of 1.11.28.
In the 50 fly, Melissa knocked over a second off her school PB to a new time of 40.72.
Annabel set a new fastest 50m back crawl in 46.28, while Mia produced a solid swim in a time of 51.37 and Jess gained a new fastest in a time of 35.90 seconds.
