It’s all Greek to me (at Headington)

Fourteen Year 5 students from Barton Park Primary School visited Headington for a day of Greek themed activities to support their Key Stage 2 studies of ancient civilisations.

The children attended workshops, led by Headington teachers, on creating myths, how the Greeks used drama and then spent some time studying Greek gods and heroes.

The group even learnt how to prepare authentic Mediterranean style food (pizza) in Headington’s Food & Nutrition Centre

The children had great fun, learned lots and enjoyed a delicious lunch in the Dining Hall.
