KS1 Sports Day

Children in Year 1and Year 2 took part in an energetic and fun-filled sports day on Thursday 17th June.

Parents were delighted to be back on site for the socially distanced outdoor event and it was a wonderful afternoon that saw the children compete in various races on the track including sprints, the egg and spoon race, sack races and a ‘teacher’s day at the beach’ race.

Sports Day is a house event and the track was awash with colour and the sound of children cheering each other on. Well done to all of the children for their enthusiasm and competitive spirit.

Results:
1st – Oak – 282pts
2nd – Chestnut – 237pts
3rd – Redwood – 225pts
4th – Beech – 201pts
