L4 Camping Trip
Recently, on the 17th – 19th June 2024, the L4 went on a camping residential trip to Croyde, Devon.
The girls took part in various activities including coasteering (jumping off rocks), surfing, a volleyball tournament and a 7-8 km coastal hike.
Ten teachers went along with the 89 girls, and not forgetting Dalton, the official mascot for both the trip and Cranmer House!
The trip was fun and tiring and many girls said that they enjoyed the water activities the most, and one thing they could have done without was the seagulls that came at regular intervals to steal the girls’ food.
L4 managed to get through the trip in a very low-maintenance fashion, even without their phones, and surprisingly the Duke of Edinburgh tents weren’t as much of an obstacle as the girls originally thought.
Overall, it was a very exhausting but enjoyable experience!
