Lunar New Year Event
On the evening of 26th January 2023, Headington School celebrated the Lunar New Year with an evening full of cultural performances and a delicious dinner. The event brought together pupils from both the Prep and Senior School to showcase their talents and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of China, Hong Kong and other regions.
The evening began with a mesmerizing dance performance from Headington Senior School students, who captivated the audience with their traditional moves and costumes. The Prep School choir also gave a great performance, singing traditional Chinese songs with harmony and grace. The event featured various performances that included a Gu Zheng performance by a student, who played ‘The Spring Festival Prelude’ beautifully.
After the performances, attendees enjoyed a delicious Chinese dinner that included a variety of traditional dishes. Thanks go to the catering team for such an amazing menu.
