Mini marathon 2025

For the second year in a row, Headington Rye Prep organised a Mini Marathon event for the whole of Pre Prep.

This year the children were raising money for ‘Ronald McDonald’ house. This is the cause which Head of Early Years Miss Ruth Sibly will be raising money for as part of her entry to the 2025 London Marathon which she will be running in April.

Director of Sport Miss Hattie Taylor explained the Mini Marathon Cross Country route to the children and then the Year 6 Cross Country captains led them in a warm up routine linked to the Hokey Cokey.

Miss Taylor said: “It was such a lovely sunny day and at the end the children enjoyed a well-earned snack and drink!”
