Nursery go swimming!

Nursery have been investigating water in different contexts in line with their new topic question ‘Why is water wet?’ They began with a trip to the swimming pool at the Senior School!

Mrs Porter visited the children in the classroom the day before to introduce some of the water play and they enjoyed blowing bubbles, washing their faces and squeezing sponges. They then went to the indoor pool on Friday 10th January which allowed the girls to explore a new environment within school. They demonstrated excellent independence and physical skills in changing and moving in the water. Everyone had a fantastic time and they are looking forward to going again soon!
