Oxford Town and Gown 10K 2022
On Sunday 8th May Team Headington gathered at Oxford University Parks for the Oxford Town and Gown 10k run. Headington’s team were delighted to have so many runners this year, including many Prep School pupils taking part in the 3k run.
It was a beautifully sunny day and Team Headington were cheered on by lots of supporters, including friends, family and large groups from our boarding community! It was fantastic to see so many runners wearing their ‘Keep Heading On’ t-shirts, easily visible throughout the route. Team Headington included staff, parents, girls and members of the wider Headington School community.
The Headington community came together for a picnic afterwards at the Headington School gazebo in Oxford’s University Parks and everyone celebrated the runners’ success.
Miss Vicky Huggett, Development Assistant said: “Thank you to everyone who took part and to all of you who came down to support. It was a brilliant community event and we hope to see even more people signing up to run for Team Headington next year!”
