Pre-Prep Ballet: “In the Garden”
The pupils from Nursery to Year 2 took to the stage to demonstrate the ballet skills they have mastered over the past year in a special assembly on Tuesday 1st April.
It was a lovely opportunity for them to dance in front of a packed audience of parents and friends. They performed with huge confidence and joy and earnt much applause after each number.
The theme of the show was “In the Garden” and their ballet characters ranged from sunflowers to raindrops and butterflies to bees.
A fantastic team of helpers from Years 5 and 6 and Senior School supported the dancers.
Ballet teacher Miss Elspeth Wilson said: “It has been lovely for the younger pupils to take part in a mini show to parents.
“They all coped so well and delighted the audience. I am very proud of them all.”
