Prep music superstars
The Prep School hosted its inaugural Ensemble Concert on Friday 15th March
The event captivated parents and showcased brilliantly the remarkable display of musical talent at the Prep School.
The audience enjoyed performances from the whole orchestra as well as smaller groups featuring Guitars, Harps, Strings and Brass and Woodwind instruments. Of particular note was the talented Pop and Jazz group who performed ‘Walking on Sunshine’ and got the audience dancing on their feet!
The pupils from Year 1 through to Year 6 sang with huge confidence and enthusiasm and it was wonderful to see how much they enjoyed performing to their friends and families. From the Year 1 and 2 choir, to Mini Soul Train and the fabulous Chamber Choir, it was a treat for all who were there.
Head of Prep Mrs Jane Crouch praised the pupils and staff for their dedication.
She said: “The concert was a true reflection of our commitment to the arts and the exceptional level of musicianship and creativity displayed by our pupils.”
